String Muting
Pinky Muting
It can be used in any style, but only when your pinky is free — for example on chords like Am, F and Dm
Pinky muting is about stopping the strings to emphasise beat using your pinky (a US term!) or your little finger as we say in Europe. String ringing is stopped completely, usually for a fraction of a second between beats
