JazzGuitarResources.com and its predecessors have been on the web in one form or another since 1995.
May 2010 Update - I've consolidated the JazzGuitarResources.com site into the main CurtSheller.com site for ease of maintence and to add some great new content.
JazzGuitarResources.com site has the largest collection of archtop guitar luthiers listed on the web, the planet. Over 200 and counting. I also have the largest listing of fellow jazz guitarists on the web, over 500 jazz guitarists.
The guitar portion of this site is mainly dedicated to jazz guitar, archtop luthiers and jazz guitarists. I've been playing, sttudy and teaching jazz guitar since my early twenties and "jazz" is a big influence on my guitar and ukulele performance.
I love the instrumental music of the 60's. I got my guitar start listening to and try to play in this style.
Al Caiola's Tuff Guitar was my favorite album back then.
Hard Copy Book: $14.95

This supplemental guide for 7 string "Jazz" guitar explores the chords on string families: 4 5 6 7 and 3 4 6 7.
Commonly referred to as "jazz" chords. The Advanced Guide to Guitar Chords Series provides detailed information on voicing 4-part chords.
Beyond learning open and barre chords, most guitarists struggle with advanced chords. Commonly called “jazz” chords, these more sophisticated voicings find a wide use in all forms of music.
Each volume of The Advanced Guide to Guitar Chords presents a highly organized and efficient approach to the mysterious subject of advanced chords. Chord dictionaries are not the answer. Even chord theory does not offer any insight into unraveling the complexity of guitar voicings.
Content is always being added and updated. So check-in often. Thanks, Curt
P.S. You may think from the look of it that Curt Sheller Publications is a slick, profitable business, but it's actually not (maybe a car payment a month, cheap car). I spend a lot and time money creating the content, lessons and books for this site (a labor of love), so if you dig my content and want to see more of it. I could use your help by spreading the word and maybe buying a book or two if you haven't already, to help defray the cost of running the site. Thanks in advance for your help. This is a labor of love and I'd do it even if I didn't make a lot of money, hey I don't!
You can also make a donation to the lesson-site fund. Button in the sidebar of the site.
If I'm not teaching, I'm working on this site and new lessons, books and goodies.
